This introductory course will discuss the International Phonetic Alphabet, how to identify your dialect, and basics of British Received Pronunciation (RP) and General American (GA). This 3 hour intensive will give you some basic tools based on Paul Meier's Accent's & Dialects for Stage and Screen. This course will get you started with a foundation for how to learn and reproduce other dialects.
